Justice League Motherbox Origins Breakdown!

IGN Fan Fest had Zack on for an interview and released a video called, "The Motherbox Origins".

Just take a moment to look at these.... Lord!

Shout out to DCFunited on Twitter for this GIF.... Beautiful. It's Pretty obvious that each image is created to mirror the God each character represents, but man is it done amazing with so much passion and detail. This for me personally, is what makes me adore the way Zack has approached these larger than life characters because he takes them seriously and treats them with the utmost respect possible. It's almost as if the characters themselves ARE the mythical beings we learned about in history classes. Anyway, here's a look at each one.

First we have this glorious image of Arthur, wielding his mother's trident. The rightful King who has not taken his throne. The full video shows alot more than what this still reveals but I love the blue tint. It's the most blue of the bunch and it's only right the King of the sea is bathed in this color.

Here we have Batman and boy is there alot to be seen here, from small easter eggs to the character and metaphors. 1st, he's shackled to a pillar that has 'justice' written on it with his mother's pearls.... BRILLIANT. 2nd, the railroad tracks speak to either his underground cave or the fact that he's gone off track in BvS. On one side, we see the location of his parents death, and the other side represents what he's left with. We also see Dick Grayson's grave, who is the Robin that died instead of Jason. In the sky, there's a faded Joker card that I feel represents that character always looming over him because of Robin's death.

Next is Cyborg. He looks to be fused into the box which makes sense since he was born from it. To the right you can see a trashed car which speaks to the tragic accident that almost killed him. I'm still trying to figure out the other things placed but once I do, I'll update this!

Next is Flash. First of all, is he standing on existence as we know it?? That's CRAZY! We see clocks and gears that represent time travel. I'm aware of what's going to happen in ZSJL, so I won't spoil it but damn is it going to be awesome. To the left we see his mother's tombstone & no Flash pic is complete with a lightening bolt.

Next is Wonder Woman. There's alot here! We see Ares on the right, below is Steve Trevor's watch, and the bell from that town she initially saved but was later bombed. Dr. Poison is in the lower left corner and above it is a heart, which I'm not 100% sure what it means. Above that is the old camera that took her picture that Lex found.

Next is Supes, of course. This is riddled with alot since Superman technically has 2 full films under his belt around the time this was made. The planets above him represent how his scream of pain before death was heard through the galaxy. The codex can be seen in the lower right corner, the bus he saved as a kid to the left. Above that is the world engine & last but not least, is the chest wound from Doomsday.

I love all of these and it gives us yet more to look at and pick apart. Can't wait to see this movie! Also, check the full interview they did with Zack at the IGN Fest as well. It was so good and there was alot of insight given. Which pic is your favorite? Comment below and thanks for reading!
