Cinematography of Godzilla v Kong (2021)

 The Titans have clashed!

Here's my review for you to watch if you haven't seen it already!

Below are some of my favorite shots from the movie I could grab (Hbomax doesn't allow screenshots within the app). Just a heads up, some pics include SPOILERS. You've been warned!

Classic shot from a trailer that looks even better in the film. I need this on my wall.

These shots of Godzilla in Hong Kong are everything. Zilla & neon works and also gives off some nostalgic vibes.

These shots really put us on the ground with the humans to showcase the gargantuan size of Kong. It's kind of scary if you soak in what it would be like to see a creature of the scale. 

Simple shot but I really like this framing & color pallet. The film has alot of moments bathed in that with neon noir color. 

Here's another cool shot i personally loved, pulling off that neon noir aesthetic.  

It all leads to this moment here... The REAL big bad. I jumped out of my seat when I first saw this! Always wanted to see Mechagodzilla in current live action. 

Excuse the subtitles. I wasn't going to post it but i really couldn't find a shot without the subs. Anyway, I love the horror aspect of this particular sequence. All that big talk only to... It's obvious what happens right??

Always gotta showcase the power struggle btw two characters who can propel energy blasts.

Respect the KINGS

Love how it ends with Kong's money shot. Dope how each titans rules over different parts of the earth. Makes me wonder, who could make these 2 team up to go against.
